Vulamehlo Hospice is situated in the old mill houses in Melville, near KwaDukuza, and does not receive regular funding. The hospice also cares for 150 patients in the community who are home-based. Their main concern is providing salaries for their staff. The Christmas Fair Fund assist by giving them a monthly amount which is used for paying small stipends to their nursing staff.
