This registered NPO that is supported by the CFF provides a family environment for orphaned and displaced children, where they are fostered from childhood. Each household has 6 children, headed by a house-mother. Apart from the homes, there is a fully operational Development Centre. Summerhill House also assists those in need in the Etete community by providing daily food parcels as well as a holiday feeding scheme. It also offers homework assistance programs, skills developments and Church meetings. There is an active sewing group as well.

 

The Christmas Fair Fund donated a lump sum to secure the property for Summerhill House and more recently has given assistance to the feeding scheme for the children during the school holidays.
